Mountains in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The
elevation of our home and studio is just over 6,500
feet above sea level. Pikes Peak looms above
Colorado Springs, rising to an elevation of 14,110
feet above sea level. Katherine Lee Bates wrote the
words to "America the Beautiful" at the summit of
Pikes Peak.
